1. Head to the beach
It’s funny how beach season is during winter in this part of the world, and the UAE has an abundance of options for residents. From Kite Beach in both Dubai and Umm Al Quwain to La Mer and JBR, grab your towels and sunscreens! Most importantly, don’t forget to bring a good book! Visit 28-harf.com for some inspirational bookmarks to accompany your latest read, you’ll never forget which page you were on again!
2. Dunes and deserts are the perfect retreat Grab some friends, fire up your grill and head to the desert for a barbecue! Clear skies and phenomenal dunes will make excellent Insta story backdrops. The desert is particularly chilly at night so be sure to bring an extra layer. There’s nothing quite as peaceful as sitting in front of a bonfire on a starry night, and if inspiration hits be sure to have a notebook on hand to write it down! We’ve got quite an extensive selection over on 28-harf.com, so you can get browsing.

4. Zipline at Jebel Jais This is a bucket list activity, and not one for the faint-hearted. The UAE’s highest peak is also home to the world’s longest zipline, the Jebel Jais Flight. You can get your heart rate back to normal afterwards by exploring the beautiful scenery the area has to offer
5. Kayak at Hatta Dam
Ig you’re up for a drive, head to Hatta to explore the UAE’s mountainous region. Hatta Dam is a reservoir framed by mountain ranges. Here you can hire a multitude of sports equipment, from kayaks and pedal boats, to donut boats and water bikes.
