It’s safe to say this has been the year of binge-watching. With strict social distancing measures in place earlier this year, people retreated to the comfort of their couches. As a result, many pounds were gained and many TV shows were watched.
With about six months of binge-watching under our belts, we’ve got the low-down on what we think EVERYONE needs to see!
1) Money Heist
Don’t be put off by the fact that this TV show is in Spanish, you can easily watch it dubbed or with subtitles, and trust us you’ll be hooked. If you’re not convinced, you should know that Money Heist is the most-watched TV series in a foreign language on Netflix (you can Google it). As the name suggests, Money Heist revolves around bank robberies and elaborate plans, it’ll have you on the edge of your seat! You don’t have to thank us when you’re done, you can head over to 28-harf.com to purchase some Money Heist paraphernalia instead.
2) The Crown If the British Monarchy has been a source of fascination, The Crown is perfect for you. It follows Queen Elizabeth’s reign through the ages and is full of history and drama. Jump right in, this is a show that will suck captivate you from episode 1. Also, the new season premieres this month, so it’s the perfect time to start watching if you haven’t already!
3) Breaking Bad
Considered a classic, and one of IMDB’s highest rated shows to date, Breaking Bad is the story of a chemistry teacher turned drug dealer. The main character Walter White, after being diagnosed with cancer, teams up with one of his former students and embarks upon a journey of drugs, violence and of course, lots and lots of money. We will say that Breaking Bad is a show one must be committed to, with a total of 5 very intense seasons, it’s hardly a casual watch. If you’re already a fan, 28-harf.com has the perfect Heizenberg T-shirt, it’s definitely a conversation starter.
4) Orange is the new Black
Women’s prison. That’s what this show is about. Female rivalries, alliances, romance, drama, comedy even a little bit of sadism. OITNB has it all, all within the confines of Litchfield Penitentiary. This is not a light watch. It’s a show that will make you think, make you realize and definitely make you feel grateful for everything you have.
5) Narcos It seems that TV shows revolving around illicit activities are a recurring theme in this list. Narcos is our final pick. Heard of Pablo Escobar? Yeah, it’s about him. His money, his business and his rise to notoriety. There really isn’t much more to say, we saved the best for last, you have to watch it, and if you’re feeling like El Patron, as he was called, you can get that on a T-shirt!
